As if the rocks can flow, not solid and motionless. No wonder Leonardo Da Vincci was fascinated.

Crash! “Ow!” Boom! The force of the biggest wave I have ever seen at the beach hits me strait on. Clank! The door to the jeep slams shut. I ran over to the spot where we were going to set up. I carried two boogie boards and my snorkel gear.
I grabbed my snorkel and fins. I sprinted down to the water as fast as I could. Iplunged into the ice cold water. I was used to this because we had a brutal winter. Its time to swim! I got my mask and flippers on and started to kick. It was low tide so the buoy was only five feet deep. I swam down to the bottom. My snorkel isn’t five feet tall so I had to hold my breath. Once I got down there I could see all of these hermit crabs. There was like a gazillion down here. I swam back up because I was starting to run out of clean air. I reached the top but, the current must have been going left because I was way right of where we set up I started kicking again.
When I finally got over to the spot where we set up I dove down again. This time I didn’t find a single hermit crab any where. I saw what looked like a moving chunk of sand. It was a small flounder with really good camouflage. I could barely see it. I sprinted out of the water to tell my dad what I saw. I was moved to the left again. The tides changed so it was a whole lot shallower.
I saw what looked to be a huge rock. It was moving so it wasn’t a rock. It was the biggest crab I have seen! I picked it up because I wanted to bring the crab back to show dad. I guess it didn’t like it because it started to pinch me. I know what it feels like to be pinched by smaller crab and they hurt!
This crab was 4 times as big as the smaller ones. The pincers were at least 5 times as big. I threw it back into the water and sprinted up to where my uncle and dad were. I was too hungry to talk so I said “Can I have my meatball sub please?”
